After Jesus died on the cross, his body was placed in a tomb. the Bible says that there was a large stone that covert the entrance of the tomb and there were soldiers guarding Jesus's tomb.
On the third day after Jesus died, it was a Sunday, the few women including Mary Magdalene went to Jesus' tomb to anoint the body of Jesus.
The Bible says that an angel scared away the guards and rolled back the stone. the angel told that ladies that Jesus who was crucified three days before was no longer in the tomb. The women went inside the tomb only to find out that Jesus is body was not there.
